Sealants

A tooth sealant is an invisible, acrylic coating painted onto the tooth surface.  It is a natural tooth colored covering that effectively protects your teeth from the acids in your food and plaque. Your teeth have natural ridges and grooves and gaps and these surfaces are at risk because it is difficult to reach them by conventional teeth cleaning methods and flossing.

The acrylic coating takes minutes to apply but the protection carries on for years. The coating is strong enough to be resistant to chewing.  Sealants are an effective preventative measure against tooth decay for both children and adults.
