An AACD survey revealed that 74% of adult Americans who responded believe an unattractive smile can hurt a person's chances for career success, while 92% say an attractive smile is an important social asset.

Gentle Cleanings:  Although twice-daily brushings and regular flossing are excellent for maintenance between office visits, regular examinations and cleanings are an absolute necessity if you are to maintain a healthy mouth. Our staff will help you keep your teeth and gums strong and disease-free. To schedule a cleaning or consultation, please contact our office today.

Tooth-colored Fillings: Used where decay or old, unsightly restorations are present. Such decay or fillings can be replaced by natural-colored fillings, made of resin, ceramic, and porcelain, which are bonded to your teeth and are much more natural looking and comfortable than their metal counterparts.

Sealants:
Dental sealants act as a barrier, protecting the teeth against decay-causing bacteria. The sealants are usually applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth (premolars and molars) where decay occurs most often.

Digital X-rays:  Dentists now have a way to make an office visit easier - faster and safer. Computed dental radiography, or CDR, which uses a plastic mouthpiece to send instant X-ray images to a computer monitor, cuts the amount of patients' radiation exposure and time in the office. Because it eliminates the use of developing chemicals, CDR is less harmful to the environment and uses 90% less radiation than traditional film X-ray systems.

Root Canal Therapy:  Each of our teeth contains a long, thin strand of dental pulp – which provides the tooth with nutrients and nerves – that extends down to the tooth’s root. If the pulp becomes infected or injured, the tooth’s nerves die and often, without endodontic treatment, the tooth dies as well. Root canals are designed to save such damaged teeth. During the procedure (performed under anesthesia), a small opening is drilled into the tooth’s crown and pulp chamber, diseased pulp is reshaped or removed, and the tooth is permanently sealed with a gold, tooth-colored, or porcelain crown.

Advanced Non-Surgical Gum Therapy:  Unfortunately, periodontal (gum) disease can lead to more than just an unsightly smile – it can cause loss of teeth and eventually, if left untreated, serious health problems. Called gingivitis in its early stages, periodontal disease is caused by excessive toxic bacteria (found in plaque) that attack your mouth’s soft tissues. Early warning signs of the disease include red, swollen, bleeding gums. If caught early, we can help you reverse the damage or, if detected late, we can use one of many effective cosmetic dentistry procedures to restore your mouth to a healthy, beautiful state.

Cosmetic Tooth Bonding:  A smile can be dulled by stained, chipped, cracked, or misaligned teeth, but a skilled cosmetic dentist can quickly and painlessly restore your smile’s natural beauty using the latest bonding techniques. During this cosmetic dentistry procedure, a thin coating of plastic or resin is painted over the damaged teeth, strengthening them and making them virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth.

Teeth Whitening:
We offer a variety of cosmetic tooth whitening procedures. Whitening procedures lighten the color of teeth. This can be done via an in-office treatment or a dentist-supervised at-home system. With the at-home system, the person wears a custom-fitted mouthguard holding the whitening gel, for short periods of time everyday.

Dental Veneers:  An excellent alternative to porcelain crowns, dental veneers can perfect your smile by masking stains, hiding chips, correcting misalignment, and creating uniformity. Dental veneers, which are made of thin,  custom-made porcelain or composite laminates designed to slide over the teeth, look incredibly natural, are long lasting, and are relatively easy to apply.

Crowns, Bridges, and Implants: These procedures are recommended where more extensive restoration is needed and are often used to replace missing teeth.
A bridge is a fixed dental appliance cemented or bonded to adjacent teeth that have been prepared to provide anchor supports.
A crown is a cap or cover used to replace the missing or damaged portions of a tooth. Crowns and bridges can also correct bite dysfunction. Implants are essentially artificial roots placed into the bone to support crowns, bridges and dentures.

Porcelain Crowns:  Porcelain crowns completely cover and protect teeth that have had extensive damage. They restore and improve the appearance of your teeth by hiding misalignments, cracks, discoloration, or other imperfections. Porcelain crowns look completely natural and offer extra support to teeth that are weak or damaged. They can also vastly improve the overall appearance of your smile and make your teeth much more durable.

Natural-looking Bridges:  Indiscreet metal bridges – the type that reveal unsightly, black, telltale lines right at the gum line – are a thing of the past. Implants and porcelain bridges can fill in missing-tooth gaps with natural-looking artificial teeth, correct speaking and chewing problems, and increase strength when biting. Implants and bridges replace missing teeth in a manner that functions comfortably and looks completely natural. To find out if bridges are a good option for you, please contact us today.

Dentures:  A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and adjacent tissues. It is made of acrylic resin, sometimes in combination with various metals. Complete dentures replace all the teeth and are either "conventional" or "immediate." A conventional denture is placed in the mouth about a month after all the teeth are removed to allow for proper healing, whereas an immediate denture is placed as soon as the teeth are removed. The drawback behind an immediate denture is that it may require more adjustments after the healing has taken place.

Partials:  A removable partial denture fills in the space created by missing teeth and fills out your smile. A denture helps you to properly chew food, a difficult task when you are missing teeth. In addition, a denture may improve speech and prevent a sagging face by providing support for lips and cheeks.
